Job Purpose

  • To lead the development and execution of emergency response procedures, crisis management, and business continuity plans in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. This role involves managing technical risks, assessing and refining business continuity plans, and ensuring compliance with A

Key Accountabilities

  • Crisis and Emergency management: Ensure and monitor the development, implementation of crisis and emergency plans
  • Safeguarding critical business functions and ensuring operational resilience
  • Developing long term strategic objectives and KPIs related to Crisis Management and Emergency Response
  • Ensure enhancement of emergency communication means
  • Monitor and ensure delivery of key emergency exercises and training
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards for company expansion projects
  • Business Continuity: Provide guidance and support to management for compliance with ADNOC BC standards
  • Establish and communicate BC Policy and Objectives
  • Ensure proper allocation of team resources for the BCM Program
  • Monitor implementation of BC exercises and testing of BC plans
  • Technical Risk Management: Ensure systematic examination of Fire and Life Safety Systems
  • Support in offering fire and life safety solutions

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
  • 12 years’ experience in health and safety, environmental or a similar role, including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
  • Knowledge of HSE ADNOC standards, UAE life and fire code, ISO and all relevant guidelines
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Willingness to learn new skills and keep up to date with latest developments
