Purpose of the role

  • The purpose of the role is to direct all activities within an assigned project/account/contract, implementing approved strategies and ensuring the achievement of budgeted targets such as revenue, profit, collections, and operational excellence.
  • The focus involves mobilizing the team to deliver world class FM services, meet contractual obligations, and liaise with other departments.

Strategy

  • Develop key FM standards and processes
  • Analyze the project requirements and direct the approach to operations
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase the profit margins and maintain Cashflows for smooth operations
  • Promote and implement green initiatives that drive sustainability
  • Sub contractor selection based on best prices and quality of service
  • Review the feasibility of solutions proposed by the Engineer and provide approvals
  • Resource planning – choose the best team for your operations and develop them
  • Look for opportunities to increase margins by proposing variation jobs to the client
  • Review PPM plans and checklists

Business Growth

  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase the profit margins and maintain Cashflows for smooth operations

Client Experience

  • Preparing inputs for MIS reports for assigned projects/accounts and sharing them with the Operations manager
  • Respond to escalations in the best manner ensuring brand reputation
  • Review and approve material requests based on the project budget
  • Maintain agreed KPI and deliver SLAs
  • Conduct monthly meetings with the client and build a healthy relationship

Team Management

  • Resource planning – choose the best team for your operations and develop them
  • Carry out mid year and annual reviews of direct reportees
  • Organize training for the team about the operation and handling of systems, machines, and equipment on site to enable team development
  • Develop positive working relationships among team members
  • Implement reward/recognition initiatives to boost team morale
