Responsibilities
- Perform spray painting and finishing works on joinery items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, wall panels, and other wooden fixtures
- Prepare wooden surfaces through sanding, filling, cleaning, and smoothing prior to finishing applications
- Apply PU paint, lacquer, varnish, stains, polish, and other finishing materials using spray guns and appropriate equipment
- Ensure smooth, consistent, and high quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations
- Carry out touch ups, repairs, repainting, and polishing as required
- Mix and match paint colors, stains, and finishing materials to achieve the desired appearance
- Safely operate spray painting equipment, sanding machines, and finishing tools
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Coordinate with supervisors and workshop or site teams to ensure timely project completion
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joinery Finishing Painter in fit out, renovation, maintenance, or joinery manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of wood finishing techniques, materials, and industry best practices
- Hands on experience with PU painting, staining, varnishing, polishing, and lacquer applications
- Skilled in operating spray guns and related finishing equipment
- Good understanding of surface preparation methods and finishing quality standards
- Experience in residential, commercial, or interior fit out projects is preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet project deadlines
- Physically fit and comfortable working in both workshop and on site environments
