Vinyl Wrapping Technician

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vinyl wrapping works for residential and commercial interior projects.
• Apply decorative and protective vinyl films on cabinets, wardrobes, doors, walls, glass, counters, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Measure, cut, and install vinyl materials accurately according to project requirements.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, repairing, and ensuring proper adhesion before application.
• Ensure smooth application without bubbles, wrinkles, misalignment, or visible defects.
• Remove old vinyl, stickers, laminates, and surface coverings when required.
• Handle different types of vinyl materials, textures, and finishes.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to complete works according to schedules and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work and carry out necessary corrections or touch-ups.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional workmanship at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Applicants must have hands-on experience in:
• Vinyl wrapping installation for interiors and furniture.
• Cabinet, wardrobe, door, and kitchen wrapping.
• Decorative film and architectural vinyl application.
• Surface preparation and finishing techniques.
• Measuring, cutting, trimming, and detailed installation.
• Heat gun application and professional wrapping techniques.
• Working with different vinyl brands, textures, and finishes.
• Repairing and correcting wrapping imperfections.
• Reading project requirements and following installation specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum **2–3 years of UAE experience** in vinyl wrapping, interior finishing, carpentry, joinery, or fit-out works.
• Experience in renovation and interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of tools and materials used for vinyl installation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is an advantage.
