Role Summary
Own mechanical design, development, and validation of Hot Gas Path components for F/HA class heavy-duty gas turbines.
Manage the full engineering lifecycle across NPI, MYA, P2V, Repair, RCA, and Fleet and Services programs.
Provide technical authority, engineering judgment, and accountability for design quality and program outcomes.
Design and Technical Ownership
- Lead mechanical design and evaluation of Turbine Hot Gas Path components using engineering principles, design standards, and product requirements.
- Build and interpret FEA models and defend conclusions at program-level design reviews.
- Optimize component configurations across geometry, performance, cost, materials, and producibility.
- Own LCF, creep, and oxidation life assessments and correlate predictions with field data.
Program and Collaboration
- Drive execution across complex multidisciplinary programs and resolve technical challenges independently.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks at component and system level.
- Lead integrated technical decisions across Heat Transfer, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing, Repair, PDE, Services, Systems, and Fleet Engineering.
