Role Overview
Leads design, engineering, and integration of boiler pressure parts and boiler-area piping systems.
The role supports new-build, retrofit, and upgrade projects through customer approval, procurement, erection, commissioning, and testing.
The position requires technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and ownership of cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Lead boiler pressure-parts and piping design activities across project phases.
- Develop AutoCAD pressure-parts arrangements and PDMS/E3D piping models.
- Design and review boiler, auxiliary, water, air, and fire-protection piping systems.
- Prepare specifications, design calculations, technical documents, component models, and data matrices.
- Prepare material ordering information, SAP MM records, purchase requisitions, and stock links.
- Generate component drawings, field weld data, sketches, and bills of materials.
- Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and review P&IDs, line lists, valve lists, datasheets, requisitions, and engineering calculations.
- Perform or guide hydraulic, pump-head, pipe-sizing, wall-thickness, material-selection, and stress calculations.
- Review drawings, 3D models, vendor documents, and fabrication outputs for compliance.
