Role overview
The role bridges low-level embedded software development and cybersecurity for eLumina devices.
The position focuses on secure-by-design products, international standards compliance, and resilience against evolving threats.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software.
- Execute the Secure Development Life Cycle for assigned components.
- Perform code and third-party scans and manage SBOM/HBOM inventories.
- Remediate identified vulnerabilities and implement system hardening.
- Implement secure boot, authentication mechanisms, and system logging.
- Integrate software with hardware and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Conduct software verification and validation for product quality and security certification.
- Maintain technical design specifications and customer-facing Secure Deployment Guides.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronic & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on embedded software development experience with exposure to security standards.
- Advanced Embedded C/C++ proficiency and strong RTOS experience.
- Strong Python proficiency for automation and security scripting.
