Role Overview
The Lead Electrical/Project Engineer leads technical delivery for solar, battery energy storage, and hybrid plant control system projects.
The role coordinates engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, product management, customers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project deliverables, stakeholder coordination, detailed engineering, controls validation, and commissioning support.
- Lead balance-of-plant engineering for energy storage projects, including electrical drawings, layouts, protection, cabling, grounding, and control buildings.
- Manage schedules, design reviews, quality assurance, contractors, customer documentation, and operational training.
- Drive reliability improvements, root cause analysis, corrective actions, process controls, and standardisation.
- Deliver projects to customer requirements on time and on or under budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or controls engineering, or science from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in detailed engineering, EPC, project execution, or controls software development and implementation.
- Expertise in solar, energy storage, plant-level systems, inverters, transformers, RMU, balance-of-plant equipment, and systems integration.
