The Kids Club Animator creates a safe, fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for children.
The role combines child supervision, recreational and educational activities, safety compliance, and guest service for children and parents.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome children and families and provide a friendly, engaging experience.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being in the Kids Club.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate arts, crafts, games, sports, storytelling, music, dancing, and educational activities.
- Organize daily schedules and deliver activities in an energetic and engaging manner.
- Encourage participation while respecting individual interests, abilities, and comfort levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment and ensure equipment is used appropriately.
- Follow hotel policies, child safeguarding procedures, and safety standards.
- Register children and release them only to authorized parents or guardians.
- Communicate with parents about activities, schedules, and participation.
- Manage minor conflicts calmly and appropriately.
- Assist with parties, themed activities, holiday programs, and other hotel activities.
- Inspect areas and equipment, report hazards or damage, and maintain required records.
About you
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Childcare, education, recreation, or hospitality-related certification is advantageous.
- Previous experience working with children in a hotel, resort, childcare center, school, or recreational environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- A friendly, energetic, patient, and responsible approach is expected.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification are advantageous.
- The role requires flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
