Joinery Finishing Carpenter

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform finishing carpentry and joinery works for residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
• Install doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, skirting, wooden partitions, and custom joinery items.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and modifications to existing furniture, fixtures, and wooden structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and cutting lists accurately.
• Operate woodworking machinery including cutting machines, edge banders, sanding machines, drilling machines, and other carpentry equipment.
• Ensure precise measurements, proper alignment, and high-quality workmanship throughout all stages of installation.
• Perform on-site adjustments and modifications as required to meet project specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, site teams, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow company procedures, project requirements, and health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a **Finishing Carpenter (Joinery)** in fit-out, renovation, maintenance, or joinery manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, joinery materials, woodworking tools, and machinery.
• Ability to safely operate carpentry and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and execute work with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and modification works.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Physically fit and capable of working in both workshop and site environments.
