Job Overview

Location and Work Setting

• The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• The work is on-site in a high-rise building construction project environment.
• The role may require support outside normal office hours when project requirements demand it.

IT Support Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support to project staff, engineers, site management, and subcontractors.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, and network connectivity.
• Configure and support FortiGate firewall, network security, and internet connectivity.
• Install and maintain CCTV, biometric attendance, access-control, and related IT systems where required.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and maintain asset registers, equipment records, software licenses, and documentation.
• Support project management, document control, ERP, timekeeping, video conferencing, and meeting-room technology.
• Ensure backups, antivirus protection, software updates, and IT security compliance.
• Assist with new project-office setup, onboarding, and site mobilization or demobilization.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Two to five years of IT Support experience is required.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-site environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting is required.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, and routers is required.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and user administration is required.
• The ability to work in a construction site environment and provide hands-on technical support is required.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified, Fortinet, ITIL Foundation, or other relevant networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or IT infrastructure certifications are advantageous.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
