Supervision and Planning
- Review the daily work schedule with the supervisor.
- Plan tasks and ensure suitable materials and resources are available.
- Organize, prioritize, and distribute team workloads according to worker capabilities.
Materials, Safety, and Quality
- Ensure correct tools and personal protective equipment are used on site.
- Select suitable materials and calculate quantities required for construction activities.
- Manage hazardous materials through appropriate labeling, storage, handling, and use.
- Conduct quality checks and deliver work on time to required standards.
Technical and Performance Management
- Read and interpret technical drawings to direct chargehands, tradesmen, and laborers.
- Record site activity, monitor productivity, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate work methods to reduce cost without sacrificing quality.
- Understand environmental and financial consequences of site decisions.
Reporting and Teamwork
- Resolve minor problems and report complex issues to the manager.
- Maintain a healthy work climate, prevent conflicts, motivate workers, and encourage teamwork.
- Provide accurate daily work progress status reports to the manager.
Requirements and Skills
- Over 6 years of experience as a Finishing Foreman.
- Ability to communicate with workers and managers.
- Reliable, independent, and proactive approach.
- Good analysis, observation, leadership, management, planning, motivational, and time management skills.
- Good written and oral English communication.
Education
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Employment
