Role overview

Internal communications

• Own, manage, and continuously enhance the intranet and internal communication channels.
• Develop and execute internal communication strategies that maximize reach, engagement, and employee participation.
• Identify effective channels, formats, and digital tools to increase message impact and content visibility.
• Drive intranet adoption through campaigns, interactive content, and creative communication approaches.

Content and storytelling

• Create, write, edit, and publish news stories, leadership messages, project highlights, employee features, campaigns, and business updates.
• Partner with senior leadership and subject matter experts to develop clear, authentic, and impactful messaging.
• Conduct interviews, gather content from across the business, and identify stories worth telling.
• Keep employees informed and aligned with company priorities, culture, initiatives, and achievements.

Analytics and optimization

• Monitor platform analytics, user behavior, and engagement metrics to optimize content performance and user experience.
• Use a data-driven approach to content planning, measurement, and optimization.
• Identify communication channels and formats that maximize audience reach and message impact.

External communications

• Support external communications through press releases, corporate announcements, success stories, and thought leadership content.
• Act as a trusted communications advisor and central storyteller across the organization.
• Translate and review communications in English and Arabic for cultural relevance, accuracy, and consistency.

Profile

• Fluent in English and Modern Standard Arabic with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding writer, editor, and storyteller with strong journalistic instincts.
• Experienced in managing intranets, digital workplace platforms, and internal communication channels.
• Strong understanding of employee engagement, content strategy, and audience behavior.
• Confident engaging with executive leadership and translating complex topics into clear, compelling content.
• Highly organized, proactive, and relationship-focused, with the ability to build networks across all levels of the business.
• Experience in construction, corporate, infrastructure, or large-workforce environments is advantageous.
