The role strengthens security, reliability, and automation across large-scale Windows and Linux enterprise infrastructure.
The position combines infrastructure engineering, DevOps, automation, security, vulnerability remediation, and operational troubleshooting.
This is an experienced engineer role with a remote working arrangement and contract engagement.
Accountabilities
- Lead vulnerability remediation across Windows and Linux servers in line with enterprise security requirements.
- Plan and support automated operating system patching across production and non-production environments while minimizing disruption.
- Collaborate with application, risk, and IT stakeholders to validate systems before and after patching.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, backlog refinement, planning, and peer reviews.
- Support ServiceNow change requests, approvals, risk assessment, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot patching and remediation issues affecting stability, performance, availability, or compliance.
- Develop scalable and repeatable infrastructure automation for vulnerability remediation and patching.
