Position Overview

A partner company is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer based in Saudi Arabia to strengthen enterprise infrastructure security, reliability, and automation.

The role focuses on vulnerability remediation, automated operating system patching, DevOps, security, and operational troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments.

Workplace and Employment

  • This is a remote contract role with a full-time working arrangement.
  • The role is based in Saudi Arabia and supports large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.

Accountabilities

  • Lead vulnerability remediation across Windows and Linux servers.
  • Plan and coordinate automated operating system patching across production and non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with application, risk management, and IT stakeholders on system validation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and peer reviews.
  • Support ServiceNow change requests, approvals, risk assessment, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot patching and remediation issues affecting stability, performance, availability, or compliance.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable infrastructure automation.
  • Share knowledge through DevOps and infrastructure communities of practice.
  • Communicate schedules, risks, technical expectations, and validation requirements.
  • Mentor peers and maintain knowledge of collaboration and engineering tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience supporting large-scale Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
  • DevOps expertise, Git-based repository experience, and infrastructure automation development.
  • Experience identifying and remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Enterprise Windows and Linux operating system patching experience.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills focused on stability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Practical experience with Git, VS Code, Windsurf AI, and GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI technologies and MCP servers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflow integration and infrastructure automation pipelines.
  • API automation and integrations involving Tanium, ServiceNow, Red Hat Satellite, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
  • Background in system integration projects, Agile environments, or infrastructure communities of practice.

Compensation

  • Hourly compensation is $42 per hour on W2, with final compensation dependent on qualifications, experience, and location.
