Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Coordinate the housekeeping team.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Wash, mop, scrub, and polish floors in assigned restaurant areas, including the kitchen, shisha bar, bar, and restrooms.
- Dust and wipe counters, shelves, tables, furniture, windows, glass panels, walls, wood panels, marble, and fixtures.
- Inspect and unclog sink drains and remove garbage efficiently.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and dispose of waste.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and toiletries and report shortages for requisition.
- Report incidents, accidents, and maintenance requirements to management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, sanitation, and material-handling instructions.
- Hand over property found in the restaurant to management.
- Carry out other duties appropriate and related to the position.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at the restaurant.
Requirements
- Coordinate the housekeeping team and carry out duties appropriate to the Housekeeping Team Lead position.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Comply with established safety rules, sanitation standards, and instructions for storing materials and equipment.
- Follow the restaurant’s policies and standard operating procedures.
- Report incidents, accidents, equipment or supply shortages, and maintenance requirements to management.
