About the Role
Dorchester Collection's AVA at Palm Jumeirah seeks a Host Supervisor for Safety & Security to supervise the host/security team, maintain a visible presence, coordinate incident response, monitor security systems, and ensure a safe environment for guests and residents.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the host/security team to ensure all operational and safety procedures are always followed
- Maintain a strong visible presence across the property while ensuring guests and residents receive exceptional service
- Coordinate incident response procedures, including emergencies, accidents, fire alarms and evacuation protocols
- Monitor security systems, CCTV operations and access control procedures to maintain the safety of the property
- Support investigations, incident reporting and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially
- Work closely with Duty Managers and operational departments to minimize risks and ensure smooth day to day operations
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns
- Ensure compliance with local laws, health & safety regulations and company policies
- Train, motivate and mentor team members to uphold Dorchester Collection standards
- Maintain accurate records, logs and reports related to incidents, shift activities and operational matters
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Host Supervisor or similar role within luxury hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of luxury residential operations, emergency procedures and guest service excellence
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to manage incidents professionally while maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- SIRA certification or equivalent security qualification is required
- Proficient in report writing and basic computer systems
- English language proficiency; additional languages are highly valued

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
