- Safely operate trucks and heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment
- Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Comply with traffic and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery and log records
- Coordinate with dispatchers or supervisors
- Interact professionally with customers or site personnel
- Report mechanical issues or delays promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license (UAE compliant)
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving
- Ability to read maps, delivery schedules, and written instructions
- Physical ability to load, unload, secure cargo, and perform vehicle checks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Heavy Vehicle Driver role based in Abu Dhabi.
- Safely operate trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment as assigned.
- Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- Comply with traffic and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery and log records.
- Coordinate with dispatchers or supervisors.
- Interact professionally with customers or site personnel.
- Report any mechanical issues or delays promptly.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills and proven experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license, in line with UAE regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, supervisors, and site staff.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to read and follow maps, delivery schedules, and written instructions.
- Physical ability to load, unload, secure cargo, and perform basic vehicle checks.
- Previous experience driving in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
