Role Overview
Lead the Finance Global Business Services and shared services function for a large and diversified FMCG organization.
Drive operational excellence, standardization, governance, service delivery, and scalable finance operations across entities and geographies.
Lead the strategic transition of key finance processes from an outsourced partner to an in-house GBS model.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Record-to-Report, financial accounting, reconciliations, and related processes.
- Establish service delivery KPIs, SLAs, governance mechanisms, internal controls, compliance, and operational performance reviews.
- Partner with business finance, controllership, FP&A, tax, treasury, audit, and corporate finance teams.
- Drive process improvement, automation, digitization, Lean, finance transformation, and best-practice initiatives.
- Lead period-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, data quality, and audit support.
- Develop standardized policies, procedures, controls, and operating models across finance processes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing GBS finance organization while managing capacity, productivity, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Provide performance, operational, and transformation updates to senior finance leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15–20+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Significant leadership experience in GBS or shared services.
- Strong experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or a similarly complex multi-entity organization.
- Proven expertise across finance operations, R2R, P2P, O2C, controllership, financial reporting, and governance.
- Strong experience in finance transformation, process standardization, automation, and large-scale team management.
- UAE or GCC exposure is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, process excellence, analytical, and change management capabilities.
