Role Overview

Financial Leadership and FP&A

• Lead FP&A, business finance, financial reporting, controllership, and consolidation across legal entities and business operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, performance reviews, KPI monitoring, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Provide scenario analysis, financial models, business-case evaluation, and insight for strategic and commercial decisions.
• Drive cost optimization, profitability improvement, working capital enhancement, and financial performance.

Consolidation and Reporting

• Lead Group consolidation across multiple business units and legal entities, including adjustments, intercompany accounting, and eliminations.
• Oversee statutory accounting, financial controls, compliance, financial statements, and reporting under applicable standards and Group policies.
• Prepare Board, bank, and lender packs covering performance, cash flow, risks, forecasts, covenants, leverage, DSCR, and ICR.
• Lead 13-week cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and short-term funding visibility.

Treasury, Controls, and Commercial Finance

• Optimize cash flow, liquidity, debt, interest costs, receivables, payables, inventory, and working capital cycles.
• Lead internal and external audits and strengthen financial, business, commercial, governance, and risk control frameworks.
• Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Commercial, Supply Chain, and operational teams on governance and business matters.
• Evaluate pricing, margins, customer profitability, cost structures, investments, contracts, and major business decisions.

Transformation and Team Leadership

• Improve financial reporting, consolidation, planning, forecasting, management information systems, controls, and financial processes.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team while supporting finance transformation and strategic initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant with 15–20+ years of progressive finance experience and significant senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong FMCG or consumer goods experience with mandatory UAE market exposure.
• Expertise across FP&A, business finance, legal entity finance, consolidation, reporting, controllership, and audit.
• Experience with Board and lender reporting, financial covenants, leverage, DSCR, ICR, 13-week cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and working capital.
• Experience working with banks, lenders, auditors, external Board members, and senior executive stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
