The role focuses on greeting guests, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
Job responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls and redirect them appropriately.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues or complaints.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle reservations and operate relevant hotel computer systems.
Candidate requirements
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent or similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
- High school diploma required.
- Additional Hospitality certification is a plus.
Additional skills
- Knowledge of hotel procedures and policies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and tact when handling difficult situations.
- Familiarity with computer systems and software used in the industry.
