Job Description
Provide professional food and beverage service to guests at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi.
Create a memorable dining experience through personalized, discreet, and attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages according to the hotel's standard of performance manual.
- Greet and seat customers and provide professional, discreet, and personalized service.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned outlet's food and beverage menu.
- Advise guests about menu items and monitor the quality of served food and beverages.
- Handle customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and service equipment standards.
- Complete mise-en-place and mise-en-scène before, during, and after service.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
Education and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality, or vocational training in food and beverage, is preferred.
- Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- A good command of English is essential.
- Guest service and interpersonal skills are essential.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Demonstrate adaptability, customer focus, responsibility, teamwork, and understanding of the job.
- Maintain a positive and pleasant attitude and a passion for people and service.
- Work effectively in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
