Description

Success measures

• Daily accounting tasks are completed and reports are prepared and distributed on time.
• Accounting staff are motivated and fully trained in their duties.
• Legal and corporate requirements and regulations are met.
• Books are closed monthly in a timely and accurate manner.
• Tax calculations and reporting are accurate and completed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Support Talent Development initiatives and identify training talent across the department and hotels.
• Support career development, transfers, cross-exposure, and task-force assignments for team members.
• Conduct regular team training sessions and support individual talent development plans.
• Recruit and select talent according to current and future hotel, regional, and worldwide needs, including conducting interviews.

Requirements

• Ability to administer hotel financial operations and safeguard financial integrity.
• Ability to prepare timely and accurate accounting reports and complete monthly book closing.
• Knowledge of applicable legal, corporate, and tax requirements.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop accounting staff.
• Ability to recruit and select talent for departmental and regional finance positions.
