About the Role

  • Arturo Palomba Gallery LLC is seeking an experienced Film Director – Art & Cultural Projects to lead the creation of high quality films, documentaries and visual storytelling projects that promote contemporary artists, international exhibitions and the Gallery's global vision.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in building one of the most innovative visual communication programmes within the international contemporary art sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct documentaries featuring internationally recognised and emerging contemporary artists.
  • Develop creative concepts for films, exhibitions and cultural storytelling.
  • Lead video productions from concept to final delivery.
  • Coordinate cinematographers, editors, photographers and production teams.
  • Produce cinematic content for exhibitions, international art fairs and digital platforms.
  • Create promotional films for collectors, museums and cultural institutions.
  • Manage production schedules and budgets.
  • Work directly with the Founder & CEO on international communication projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Cinematography, Directing or related discipline.
  • Proven experience directing documentaries, commercial films or cultural productions.
  • Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Experience managing film productions from pre production to post production.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software.
  • Fluent English.
  • International travel availability.

Salary

  • AED 38,000 – AED 55,000 per month (Tax Free)
  • Executive Performance Bonus
