- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities within the international contemporary art market
- Develop long term relationships with artists, collectors, galleries, estates, and cultural institutions
- Conduct market analysis, pricing research, and artwork evaluations
- Support acquisition negotiations and consignment agreements
- Prepare acquisition proposals and strategic reports
- Coordinate artwork due diligence before acquisitions
- Attend international art fairs, exhibitions, and gallery events
- Monitor emerging artists and international market trends
- Collaborate with curatorial and sales teams on acquisition strategy
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO on strategic collection development
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Business, Luxury Management, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in galleries, auction houses, art advisory, or art acquisitions
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to build relationships with collectors and artists internationally
- Fluent English is required
- Availability for frequent international travel
- Additional languages are considered an advantage

About the Role
- Arturo Palomba Gallery LLC is seeking an experienced Art Acquisition Manager to identify, evaluate and secure exceptional artworks for exhibitions, private collections and strategic acquisitions.
- Working directly with the Founder & CEO, you will play a key role in expanding the Gallery's international portfolio by sourcing outstanding artists and acquisition opportunities across global art markets.
Key Responsibilities
