About the Role

  • Arturo Palomba Gallery LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Collection Photographer to produce museum quality photography of artworks for exhibitions, private collections, catalogues, publications and international marketing initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting artworks to the highest professional standards while collaborating with artists, curators and the Gallery team to create compelling visual assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality photographic documentation of paintings, sculptures and mixed media artworks.
  • Photograph artworks for catalogues, exhibitions, online platforms and collector presentations.
  • Ensure accurate colour reproduction and image consistency.
  • Coordinate studio and on site photography sessions.
  • Manage digital image archives and metadata.
  • Collaborate with curators, artists and marketing teams.
  • Prepare images for print, publications and digital campaigns.
  • Maintain photography equipment and studio standards.
  • Support visual documentation during exhibitions and art fairs.
  • Work directly with the Founder & CEO on strategic visual communication projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communication or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in fine art, museum or commercial photography.
  • Strong knowledge of professional lighting techniques and colour management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or equivalent professional software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual quality.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Availability for occasional international travel.
