- Conduct provenance research and authentication of artworks
- Verify certificates of authenticity, ownership records and exhibition history
- Analyse signatures, labels, stamps and documentation
- Coordinate technical examinations with recognised laboratories and conservation specialists
- Liaise with artists, estates, foundations, museums and authentication committees
- Prepare authentication and provenance reports
- Support acquisition, exhibition and sales decisions
- Identify potential legal, ethical and authenticity risks
- Maintain confidential documentation and artwork records
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO on high value acquisitions
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Conservation, Fine Arts or a related discipline
- Previous experience in galleries, museums, auction houses, artist foundations or authentication services
- Strong knowledge of provenance research and artwork authentication
- Excellent analytical, organisational and research skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Fluent English is required
- Additional languages are considered an advantage
- Availability for international travel

About the Role
- Arturo Palomba Gallery LLC is seeking an experienced Art Authentication & Provenance Manager to lead the verification, authentication and provenance research of artworks considered for acquisition, exhibition and international representation.
- This strategic position plays a critical role in protecting the Gallery's reputation by ensuring the authenticity, provenance and legal integrity of every artwork handled by the Gallery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct provenance research and authentication of artworks.
- Verify certificates of authenticity, ownership records and exhibition history.
- Analyse signatures, labels, stamps and documentation.
- Coordinate technical examinations with recognised laboratories and conservation specialists.

Requirements

Salary
- AED 38,000 – AED 52,000 per month (Tax Free).
