Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Factory Manager for switchgear manufacturing.
The role is accountable for delivering the production plan on time, to specification, and at planned cost.
The position combines production planning and control with direct shop-floor management.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 7,000 to AED 9,000 per month.
Location and Work Setting
- The role is based in Sharjah and requires at least 60% of working hours on the shop floor.
- The manager is expected to manage operations primarily from the shop floor rather than an office.
Production Planning and Control
- Build and own the master production schedule using welding capacity as the plant constraint.
- Calculate delivery dates for every Work Order using capacity and standard hours.
- Maintain standard man-hours by panel type and process stage and revise them monthly against actual performance.
- Verify drawing completeness, BOM issuance, and material availability before releasing Work Orders.
