Role Overview
Lead secondary engineering for utility-scale STATCOM and SVC grid-stability projects across domestic and international markets.
The role covers technical leadership, project coordination, customer interface, team development, quality assurance, and delivery from bid stage through commissioning and handover.
The position is based in Noida, India, with homeworking flexibility.
Engineering Leadership
- Lead control and protection, SCADA, HMI, communication, and cybersecurity engineering activities.
- Manage engineering schedules, resource planning, workload allocation, and competency development.
- Drive engineering excellence, standardization, continuous improvement, and technical mentoring.
- Support factory testing, site commissioning, and performance validation.
Technical Scope
- Lead engineering for unit and station controllers, load sharing, reactive and voltage control, power oscillation damping, fault ride-through, and grid-code compliance.
- Design and review protection schemes for STATCOM transformers, reactors, auxiliary systems, switchyard interfaces, and medium- and high-voltage equipment.
- Prepare and review SCADA architecture, data mapping, alarm management, sequence-of-events systems, historical data collection, operator screens, and control logic integration.
