- Lead and manage a team of solutions engineers and technical leads, setting goals and providing feedback
- Coordinate on demand technical squads from other engineering units for specific project requirements
- Establish and enforce rigorous engineering standards for project delivery
- Own technical execution of premium contracts, overseeing scoping, estimation, and delivery of custom requirements
- Enforce SLAs for custom deliverables and track milestone completion and delivery quality
- Act as senior technical point of contact for premium accounts, translating business needs into engineering tasks
- Lead technical coordination for new Class A merchants, ensuring swift data migrations, ERP integrations, and store setups
- Serve as central bridge between merchant, internal engineering squads, and customer support to remove technical blockers
- Develop engineering frameworks for scalable custom solutions without creating technical debt
- Support adaptation of enterprise service offerings to international markets
- Partner with Sales during pre sales process to validate technical feasibility and scope service contracts
- Ensure quality of technical delivery fosters long term loyalty among premium merchants
Requirements
- 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Software Engineering, or Professional Services
- 2+ years directly managing engineering or technical delivery teams serving Enterprise/B2B clients
- Strong understanding of e commerce architectures (Headless, API first), integrations (ERPs, CRM), and web technologies
- Proven experience managing complex, multi stakeholder projects with strict deadlines and commercial contracts
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineers
- Exceptional ability to manage client expectations and de escalate critical technical situations

Overview
- We are looking for a commercially aware and technically strong Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Solutions team, serving our Class A and Premium merchants.
- In this hands on leadership role, you will manage engineers who design, build, and deliver custom enterprise grade services from bespoke themes to complex integrations.
- You will own the delivery of premium technical services and the technical execution of enterprise merchant onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Delivery Management: Hire, coach, and grow a core team of solutions engineers and technical leads.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate on demand technical squads drawn from other engineering units to fulfill specific project requirements.
- Delivery Standards: Establish and enforce rigorous engineering standards for project delivery.
- Service Catalog Input: Contribute to the definition and evolution of the premium technical services catalog.
- Technical Execution of Contracts: Own the technical execution of premium contracts overseeing scoping, estimation, and delivery.
- SLA & Performance Tracking: Enforce SLAs for custom deliverables, tracking milestone completion, delivery quality, and billing triggers.
- Merchant Salla Liaison: Act as a senior technical point of contact for premium accounts.
- Accelerated Time to Value: Lead technical coordination for new Class A merchants.
- Cross Functional Coordination: Serve as central bridge between merchant, internal engineering squads, and customer support.
- Dynamic Resource Allocation: Orchestrate ad hoc, on demand technical teams for time sensitive onboarding challenges.
- Customization Frameworks: Develop engineering frameworks for scalable custom solutions.
- Regional Enterprise Needs: Support adaptation of enterprise service offerings to international markets.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Software Engineering, or Professional Services, with 2+ years directly managing engineering or technical delivery teams serving Enterprise/B2B clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of e commerce architectures (Headless, API first), integrations (ERPs, CRM), and web technologies.
