Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor senior software engineers while fostering ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Partner with product, design, operations, and other stakeholders on scalable technical solutions and product outcomes.
- Influence product direction and help teams prioritize meaningful user-focused outcomes.
- Design and evolve scalable architectures and break complex initiatives into technical plans.
- Adopt AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to improve productivity, quality, testing, and delivery.
- Guide full-stack development with TypeScript, React, Next.js, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering standards.
- Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, security, and operational practices.
- Use engineering metrics to identify risks and improve delivery predictability.
- Lead modernization, technical debt reduction, automation, and platform evolution.
- Contribute hands-on to architecture, implementation, debugging, investigations, and proofs of concept.
- Promote asynchronous communication across globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting production systems.
- Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and owning technical delivery.
- Hands-on integration of LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, or AI-powered workflows.
- Strong TypeScript, React, and Next.js experience.
- Ability to design scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, observability, production operations, and system modernization.
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to balance scalability, maintainability, cost, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfort working remotely with globally distributed teams and a coaching-oriented leadership style.
