Role Overview
The Engineering Coordinator supports day-to-day Engineering Department operations through administrative coordination and maintenance follow-up.
The role coordinates between Engineering, other hotel departments, and external contractors to help maintain hotel facilities to high standards.
Job Description
- Coordinate daily maintenance requests and assign work orders to the Engineering team.
- Monitor Preventive Maintenance schedules and follow up on timely completion.
- Maintain engineering records, logs, reports, and department documentation.
- Update the maintenance system with completed work orders and job status.
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, Security, and other departments on maintenance requirements.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and monitor engineering spare parts and supplies.
- Coordinate contractor visits, service appointments, and annual maintenance schedules.
- Maintain equipment manuals, warranties, service reports, and compliance certificates.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly engineering reports for management review.
- Assist with attendance, leave, duty schedule, and overtime documentation.
- Record utility meter readings and maintain energy consumption reports.
- Handle department correspondence and support internal and external audits.

- The role supports compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
- Additional administrative duties may be assigned by the Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering.
