The client is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer for water treatment projects in Dubai.
The role covers electrical system design, testing, documentation, supplier coordination, installation oversight, and site troubleshooting.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
Work Setting
- The role includes overseeing electrical installations at project sites and resolving site-related technical issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical technical submittals, including SLDs, schematics, BOQs, cable lists, load schedules, layouts, and lighting and power plans.
- Develop the electrical section of the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
- Prepare FAT, SAT, mega ohm, continuity, loop, and functional test documentation.
- Send RFQs to suppliers, negotiate terms, coordinate approvals, and manage supplier communications.
- Program Micro Relays, including LOGO and Zelio.
- Oversee site electrical installations and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, local regulations, and industry practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and technical teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of UAE electrical engineering experience.
- Water treatment or industrial-sector experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Experience with RFQs, supplier coordination, and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
- PLC programming experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
