Role overview
Electrical Engineer role supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects in India.
The work focuses on power system studies, modeling, engineering design, documentation, automation, and grid-compliant integration.
The role collaborates with U.S.-based teams and is performed remotely in India.
Accountabilities
- Perform grounding, short-circuit, load flow, arc flash, protective coordination, ampacity, harmonic, and power quality studies.
- Develop and maintain models for solar PV, battery storage, collection systems, and renewable generation facilities.
- Design, size, and route medium-voltage collection system cables.
- Prepare technical reports, calculation packages, engineering documentation, and project deliverables.
- Automate calculations, data processing, and reporting to improve study efficiency.
- Apply IEEE, NESC, NEC, utility, jurisdictional, safety, and project engineering requirements.
- Perform QA/QC checks on engineering calculations, models, and supporting data.
- Present findings and support senior engineers in client and utility discussions.
- Manage assigned deliverables and share technical methods and lessons learned.
