Role Overview
Execute and supervise electrical works for landscape and swimming pool projects in the UAE.
The role requires hands-on experience with pool and landscape electrical and lighting systems from a UAE contracting firm.
Site Execution and Supervision
- Execute electrical installation works covering power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Review shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications for correct site execution.
- Supervise subcontractors and site technicians to maintain project schedule and quality.
- Coordinate pool pump control panels, pool lighting, bonding, and earthing installations.
Testing, Compliance, and Handover
- Conduct insulation resistance, earthing, load, and other site tests to verify quality and safety.
- Coordinate QA/QC inspections, testing, and NCR close-out for electrical works.
- Liaise with DEWA and other UAE authorities on approvals, inspections, and utility connections.
- Prepare progress reports, material requisitions, as-built records, and commissioning documentation.
- Support commissioning and safe handover of electrical and pool control systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least eight years of Electrical Engineer experience in a UAE-based contracting firm.
- Proven UAE landscape and swimming pool execution experience, including pool electrical and lighting systems.
- Strong knowledge of UAE wiring regulations, DEWA requirements, and civil defence standards.
- Practical experience in site execution, subcontractor supervision, and electrical testing and commissioning.
