The BIM Coordinator will manage landscape BIM models and workflows across live UAE-based real estate and community development projects.
The role coordinates landscape, architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines within a contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate landscape BIM models and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Lead multidisciplinary clash detection and coordination across landscape, architectural, structural, and MEP models.
- Develop and monitor the BIM Execution Plan and LOD requirements.
- Manage model data in the Common Data Environment, including version control and data integrity.
- Chair coordination meetings, design reviews, and clash-resolution sessions.
- Review landscape drawings, details, and quantity take-offs.
- Resolve design and construction queries with site teams, landscape architects, and consultants.
- Report coordination progress and support procurement with model-derived scheduling and cost data.
- Ensure ISO 19650 and other BIM standards are followed, and mentor BIM modelers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of BIM coordination experience with dedicated landscape project experience.
- UAE contracting-firm experience is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650, BEP development, CDE management, and landscape construction methods.
