The role supports landscape and swimming-pool construction projects within a quality-focused construction operation.
Role Overview
Implement and monitor QA/QC processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable UAE codes, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement project-specific QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
- Inspect irrigation, pool plant rooms, pumps, filtration, piping, and electrical installations.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Raise, track, and close MEP NCRs.
- Coordinate quality issue resolution with engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Witness plumbing, pool circulation, electrical, and irrigation testing.
- Verify materials and equipment against approved submittals.
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, redlines, and as-built tracking.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and approvals.
- Participate in quality audits.
- Prepare reports and inspection request logs.
- Support snagging, de-snagging, and final handover documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with an MEP discipline.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant MEP QA/QC experience.
- Landscape and swimming-pool construction experience within the UAE.
- Knowledge of pool mechanical systems, irrigation systems, and associated electrical works.
- Familiarity with DM, DEWA, Trakhees, ITP, and NCR requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QA/QC standards and documentation practices.
Technical Scope
- Pool systems include pumps, filtration, chlorination or dosing, and water circulation.
- Testing may include hydrostatic or pressure testing, insulation resistance testing, megger testing, and irrigation system testing.
- Quality documentation includes inspection records, checklists, redlines, as-built tracking, reports, and inspection request logs.
