Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design calculations, layouts, and technical reports for building projects
- Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, earthing & lightning protection, ELV, and fire alarm systems
- Perform electrical load estimation and voltage drop calculations
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection teams
- Prepare authority submission drawings and documents
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements such as DEWA, SEWA, and Civil Defense
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Support project execution and site technical clarifications when required
Requirements
- Experience in building services and MEP consultancy projects in the UAE
- Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, earthing & lightning protection, ELV, and fire alarm systems

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with experience in building services and MEP consultancy projects in the UAE.
- The candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and preparation of electrical systems for residential, commercial, mixed use, and high rise developments in accordance with UAE authority regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design calculations, layouts, and technical reports for building projects.
- Design and coordinate: Power distribution systems, Lighting systems, Emergency lighting systems, Small power systems, Earthing & lightning protection systems, ELV systems, Fire alarm systems, Load schedules and single line diagrams.
- Perform electrical load estimation and voltage drop calculations.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection teams.
- Prepare authority submission drawings and documents.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Civil Defense requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Support project execution and site technical clarifications when required.
