Role Overview
The Drupal Developer will work onsite in Dubai under a contract engagement.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications.
Development Responsibilities
- Build custom Drupal modules and themes.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs.
- Optimise performance and ensure security and scalability of Drupal solutions.
- Translate technical and business requirements into robust implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Delivery and Collaboration
- Participate in code reviews and testing activities.
- Create documentation and support deployments.
- Contribute to development process and standards improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage tasks within project timelines.
Technical Qualifications
- Strong back-end web development and object-oriented programming skills, including server-side logic, database integration, and Drupal module development.
- Solid front-end and web development skills, including responsive UI implementation, cross-browser compatibility, and Drupal theming integration.
- Software development skills including version control, testing, debugging, and coding standards.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Drupal 9/10, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks or libraries is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, security best practices, and performance optimisation for high-traffic sites is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
