Role Overview

  • As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the hotel's overall marketing strategy, ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects the distinctive DELANO brand.
  • Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Regional Marketing, Revenue, Sales and Operations teams, you will develop integrated marketing strategies that build brand awareness, drive revenue and create meaningful cultural relevance.
  • This role requires a commercially minded leader with exceptional creative instincts, deep understanding of luxury hospitality and lifestyle brands, and a strong network across media, fashion, art, entertainment and the UAE luxury landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion and protect the DELANO brand across every channel and guest touchpoint.
  • Lead the development of the annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity, storytelling and tone of voice.
  • Position DELANO Dubai as a market leading luxury lifestyle destination.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting rooms, restaurants, bars, spa and events.
  • Drive awareness, market share, guest acquisition and revenue.
  • Build seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives.
  • Identify emerging market trends and guest behaviours to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Oversee all digital marketing activities including website, CRM, email marketing, SEO/SEM and paid media.
  • Lead content strategy across owned and earned channels.
  • Ensure all photography, videography and creative assets reflect DELANO's elevated aesthetic.
  • Drive social media strategy in partnership with the Social Media Manager.

PR & Communications

  • Lead the hotel's PR strategy alongside appointed agencies.
  • Build relationships with international, regional and local media.
  • Secure impactful editorial coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Oversee crisis communications where required.

Partnerships & Experiences

  • Develop strategic partnerships with luxury, fashion, design, wellness and cultural brands.
  • Create signature brand activations that generate conversation and strengthen DELANO's positioning.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers and tastemakers aligned with the brand.

Commercial Performance

  • Manage the annual marketing budget and ROI.
  • Analyse campaign performance and guest insights.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management and Sales to maximise demand and profitability.
  • Present regular performance reports with actionable recommendations.

Leadership

  • Inspire and develop a high performing marketing team.
  • Foster collaboration across departments.
  • Mentor direct reports and encourage creativity, accountability and innovation.
  • Build a culture of excellence that reflects DELANO's values.
