- Follow strict HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
- Assist with proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients
- Work closely with Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie
- Actively learn and develop culinary techniques under supervision
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and positive attitude
- Assist with general kitchen duties to ensure efficiency

Role Overview
- As a Commis I at DELANO Dubai, you will support the kitchen brigade in the preparation and execution of high quality dishes, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and attention to detail.
- You will play an important role in maintaining smooth kitchen operations while developing your culinary skills within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation Support: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and brand standards
- Mise en Place: Ensure your station is fully set, organised, and ready for efficient service execution
- Service Assistance: Support senior chefs during service by completing tasks accurately and promptly under guidance
- Quality Standards: Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portioning in line with DELANO standards
- Hygiene & Safety: Follow strict HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures, ensuring a clean and compliant workstation
- Stock Handling: Assist with proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Skill Development: Actively learn and develop culinary techniques under the supervision of senior kitchen team members
- Kitchen Discipline: Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
- Operational Support: Assist with general kitchen duties to ensure efficiency and consistency across service periods
