- Assist with fundamental tasks such as washing, peeling, trimming, and basic portioning of ingredients
- Help prepare and maintain a clean, organised, and well stocked workstation before and during service
- Support senior chefs during service by carrying out simple, assigned tasks accurately and promptly
- Maintain strict cleanliness standards and follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
- Assist with proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and minimise waste
- Work closely with Commis II, Commis I, and Demi Chef de Partie to support smooth kitchen operations
- Actively learn basic culinary techniques, kitchen procedures, and brand standards under supervision
- Follow instructions carefully, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic
- Assist with general kitchen duties to ensure efficiency and cleanliness throughout service
- Begin developing an understanding of DELANO culinary standards, recipes, and presentation expectations
