Responsibilities
- Ensure the marketing and communications department achieves the hotel's financial and marketing objectives set by the Director of Sales & Marketing
- Maintain direct oversight over the marketing and communications department
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Finance, Food and Beverage, Spa, and Front Office to develop and execute an annual marketing and communications budget and plan
- Ensure the marketing and communications team understands their roles and communicate strategic vision and objectives
- Provide the Executive Committee with regular marketing and communications reports for strategic commercial plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts, and other reports
- Consider every situation as a commercial and marketing opportunity to showcase hotel products and services
Requirements
- Relevant university diploma
- Past experience working in the luxury industry, ideally in the Middle East
- Deep expertise in digital marketing with proven track record of leveraging data driven strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor team members
- Excellent communication skills with strong customer service ethic
- Fluency in English; additional languages like Arabic or French are an asset

Position Overview

What you'll do
- You will be responsible for ensuring that your department achieves the hotels’ financial, the marketing & communications objectives set by the Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- You’ll also be responsible for maintaining direct oversight over the marketing and communications Department.
- You will work closely with Revenue Management, Finance, Food and Beverage, Spa and the Front Office departments of the hotel to develop and execute an annual marketing and communications budget and plan.
- You will ensure that the marketing and communications team understand their roles and will clearly communicate them the strategic vision and objectives on how to drive awareness and brand recognition resulting in improve performances and revenues.
- As a member of the Hotel’s senior management team, you will be responsible for providing the Executive Committee with regular marketing and communications reports for the strategic commercial plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/req
- It will be critical for you to consider every situation as a commercial and marketing opportunity to showcase the Hotel products and services.

- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- You will have a relevant university diploma and bring wealth of past experience working for the luxury industry ideally in the Middle East.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language any others would be an asset, such as Arabic, French etc.
