Design Project Manager (EXPO)

Work Arrangement

• The position is based in Riyadh and follows a full-time office/project work arrangement.
• International single-person relocation is authorized.

Role Overview

Technical and Engineering Leadership

• Lead delivery of the infrastructure masterplan and detailed design.
• Build and direct a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Establish engineering management plans, procedures, and performance reporting.
• Review design deliverables for constructability, value engineering, and safety in design.

Project Coordination and Controls

• Coordinate stakeholders and conduct technical presentations and stage gate reviews.
• Manage design submissions and engineering progress reporting.
• Own engineering inputs to capital estimates, quantities, and budgets.
• Review project changes and support change control procedures.

Delivery Management

• Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, startup, environmental safety and health, and project controls teams.
• Prepare studies, reports, forecasts, and special engineering reports.
• Manage design subcontractors, subconsultants, and contractors for timely, budget-compliant delivery.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or international equivalent, in an engineering discipline is required.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, including master planning, is required.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure and masterplan projects is required.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Strong team leadership, organization, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Experience in multicultural, highly diverse teams and the ability to work under pressure are required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM processes, and Navisworks is required.
• Middle East experience and KSA labor law knowledge are highly preferred.
