Project and Role Overview
Bechtel is managing the infrastructure program for Expo 2030 Riyadh, including early works, utilities, streets, parks, and a mixed-use legacy development.
The Design Manager will lead mobility infrastructure planning, design review, coordination, integration, and stakeholder management.
Mobility packages include roads, highways, junctions, streetscapes, parking, Park & Ride infrastructure, pedestrian networks, cycling infrastructure, transport utilities interfaces, and supporting civil works.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage mobility infrastructure design packages and multidisciplinary consultants.
- Coordinate designs with planning, architecture, landscape, utilities, structures, operations, logistics, security, and adjacent development teams.
- Lead technical reviews, consultant comment resolution, design compliance reviews, and interface management.
- Monitor consultant scope, program, deliverables, risks, technical issues, changes, and approvals.
- Support constructability, phasing, staging, and traffic management reviews.
- Engage authorities, operators, utility agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
