Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section efficiently
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and presentation standards
- Maintain a well organised and fully prepared workstation to support smooth service execution
- Support during service by executing tasks promptly and maintaining quality under pressure
- Follow strict HACCP and hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance
- Assist in proper storage, labelling, and usage of ingredients to minimise waste
- Work closely with CDPs, Sous Chefs, and other kitchen team members for seamless operations
- Continuously develop culinary skills and techniques under guidance of senior chefs
- Ensure all dishes align with DELANO recipes, plating guides, and brand expectations
- Maintain a professional, organised, and proactive approach in a fast paced kitchen environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in luxury hotel or high end restaurant
- Good understanding of basic culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong focus on consistency, presentation, and quality standards
- Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a structured kitchen brigade
- Formal culinary qualification or international culinary training preferred
