Job Overview

  • We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Cold Section to join our culinary team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing high quality cold dishes and supporting the daily operations of the Cold Kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present cold dishes, salads, appetizers, desserts, and other cold kitchen items in accordance with approved recipes and presentation standards.
  • Support the Chef de Partie – Cold Section in the daily operation of the kitchen and ensure smooth service.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and delivered on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare ingredients, perform mise en place, and ensure the assigned workstation is fully organized before each service.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control, and presentation at all times.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, rotation, and handling of food products in accordance with FIFO principles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation throughout the shift.
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
  • Report stock shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Chef de Partie.
  • Follow all company policies, health & safety procedures, and kitchen standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or a senior Commis I within the Cold Kitchen of a luxury hotel, high end restaurant, premium resort, or hospitality brand in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of cold food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations.
  • Good understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for producing high quality dishes.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Must be currently based in Dubai, UAE and available for a face to face interview.
