Role overview
The partner company is seeking a Data Engineering Lead - Data Quality Systems based in India.
The role engineers data-quality systems that determine whether billions of records can be trusted by customers.
The position is approximately 80% hands-on engineering and 20% technical leadership of a small team.
The work covers verification pipelines, anomaly detection, scoring frameworks, LLM evaluation, and automated release gates.
Accountabilities
- Build verification, sampling, scoring, and reconciliation pipelines across billions of company and people records.
- Create reusable frameworks, abstractions, and specifications for reliable quality checks.
- Develop LLM validation and extraction evaluation harnesses with labeled sets and quality metrics.
- Create release gates, failure analysis, and triage tooling to prevent poor-quality data from reaching customers.
- Lead 3–5 Applied AI Engineers through technical direction, code reviews, pairing, and mentoring.
- Operate LLM quality systems with traceability, versioning, cost controls, and performance monitoring.
