Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of contentious construction and engineering matters
- Managing litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Drafting pleadings, submissions, witness statements and other legal documentation
- Developing case strategies and supporting clients through all stages of disputes
- Conducting legal research and providing commercially focused advice
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and witnesses throughout proceedings
- Supporting major construction and infrastructure projects across the GCC
- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, high profile matters
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience
- Strong background in contentious construction law gained within a reputable law firm
- Experience handling construction disputes, arbitration and/or litigation matters
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively within a fast paced environment
- Commercially minded with a strong client service focus
- Proactive, driven and keen to contribute to a growing practice

Job Overview
- A leading international law firm is seeking a Contentious Construction Associate to join its growing Construction & Engineering practice in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of contentious construction and engineering matters
