Role Overview
Own a broad range of activities related to managing and maintaining the consumer notebook product lifecycle.
Build and maintain business relationships with sales, marketing, warehouse, service, external partners, and headquarters.
The role requires self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, and passion for computers and technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the complete consumer notebook product line lifecycle from strategic planning through tactical activities.
- Conduct market research and customer visits to specify requirements for current and future products.
- Drive product solutions across development, engineering, and marketing communications using market requirements, product contracts, and positioning.
- Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan with cross-functional departments.
- Coordinate with factories, carriers, and logistics teams in China and Taiwan to ensure product supply.
- Attend headquarters meetings from Monday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to midnight, to obtain roadmaps, policies, supply status, and report Canadian market conditions.
- Review and adjust inventory levels to support inventory turnover and product availability.
- Determine product pricing using market research data and anticipated market changes.
- Develop programs and analytics and track and report program execution.
